Travelling Fashion

You live in a hot climate, but you have planned a trip to where the sun doesn’t shine as brightly and there are still many chilly days ahead. Perhaps you don’t have all the winter clothes you need; a fashion follower’s nightmare. What shall I pack?

Here are four tips to keep you looking stylish and fashionable without being caught out in the cold.

Apple Bottom Jeans

1. Layer up! A great cardigan or hoodie layered over a singlet or t-shirt so when the sun comes out you won’t be left sweating away in a hot sweatshirt!

2. Denim. Jeans are so versatile, so wear a light coloured pair of Apple Bottoms jeans for a spring look while keeping the coverage and warmth you need should the clouds come over. The right pair of jeans can also be appropriate for any occasion.

3. Color. Add a splash of color to your outfit, whether it be a red hoodie or a bright blue baseball cap. The sun is out, so get happy and brave with a great colored piece of clothing!

4. Closed toed shoes. Until the hot weather arrives stick to shoes with closed in toes. Keep your feet warm and stylish. Flip flops on men and women look terrible on a cloudy day. Wear a sharp pair of sneakers in white or with an emblem of color to lift your outfit. Ladies, go for cute sneakers or ballet pumps; light, fun and flirty.

A change of climate is a great way to start experimenting and thinking about what to wear; plan your fashion vacation ahead!
